Eyelash Extensions: Yay or Nay?




For the Student Achievement Ball on Saturday I decided to treat myself to some eyelash extensions.

I'd always wanted to try them and my sister is a big fan.

I feel as though I'm a bit late getting on the bandwagon here, I did read this back in December time (I think) and I'm finally getting round to a post about The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.

I'd heard a lot of hype about this book. Number one bestseller, major film and Stephen King even said: "[it] kept me up most of the night!" Me too, Stephen.

An Evening with Stuart MacBride


Waterstones sometimes have author events, and for some reason, I have never taken advantage of that. That is until Monday night. 

A couple of weeks ago I was just popping in to buy a book I really wanted when I saw posters of the event everywhere. An Evening with Stuart MacBride. And I knew I had to go.

I'm not gonna lie, I put this on because I ran out of things to watch on Netflix and thought it sounded like the earlier seasons of Pretty Little Liars.  So I thought 'why not?'. Boy, was I wrong? 

It was late on Thursday night, I'd been gutting out my wardrobe and decided I needed something on in the background. Little did I know this would capture my full attention.

I can not believe it is now April and I haven't blogged once this year. Not once.


In fact, I haven't posted since the 24th November, what happened to my little obsession? Last year my blog was my pride and joy, and I strived to make it successful.
